Financial & Health Assistance

Food Assistance

The Food Assistance Program (also known as SNAP) supplements the purchase power of people with low incomes to obtain nutritious food.

Food Assistance (FA) is issued by the USDA through county job and family services agencies and is used to purchase grocery items at participating grocery stores.

We look at your gross monthly income (before taxes) to determine if you may qualify for food assistance. FA is a needs based program. Work activity participation will be determined at application.
