Medicaid Non-Emergency Transportation program (NET) is for Medicaid-eligible consumers to cover their costs to and from Medicaid-covered service appointments. NET is available for Medicaid-eligible consumers regardless of the payer (Medicaid, Medicare, private insurance, or charity care).
The method of transportation selected must be adequate to assure the safety of the individual while also being the most economical means available. Transportation services are provided by:

As a rural area, many medical services are not provided within the boundaries of this county. The medical community is defined as the following counties: Clark, Franklin, Greene, Madison, Montgomery, and Union. Transportation outside this community may be authorized if the identified Medicaid-reimbursable service is not available within this area. NET authorized outside of this area must be only to the closest Medicaid provider of service.
